    There are a whole separate set of rules for punt muffs. Totally different than catching the punt, and then fumbling. I don't know what they are, but when I hear the ref say "Muff" I know not to even try to understand.

    I had never heard the whole body rule on the past the LOS.

    Both were. Otah came back after a series and played the rest of the game. Wharton came back and played, and then left again. Havent heard anything. Holding my breath on both of them.

    I disagree--watch it again--ball was spotted SHORT of the 40. Rivers right foot was ON the 40.

    Just my observation, but that was a missed call, IMO, regardless of the explanation.
