I wouldn't be surprised if it was conditional based on starts, 7th if Jake stays healthy.

we had the money to fit the contract under, but right now you can get guys of this level that will take what you offer, so I dunno.

you've got to question several of their decisions but it's their asses on the line in the end

I don't understand trading anything before finding out who gets cut the next day.

Is this not same Mc Cown a few seasons back with the CARDS,that rolled out to pass and scrambled all over the Panthers ?

So he want be a clock manger pocket QB as much

If and thats a big IF he gets to play
His ability to scramble and roll out could add a new wrinkle .

The only new wrinkes will be on my face due to stress if we have to go another season without Jake. Let's hope there are no new wrinkles.

Carr could roll out (actually I was a bit surprised we didn't roll him much), but yeah, Fasani magic isn't necessarily what we need right now.

it doesn't matter what they gave up for him, he should start now. jake is old and done and the panthers should be looking at rebuilding. mcown is still in his 20s and would be a strong piece to build around. maybe they can start winning again in three years and playoffs could realisticly be in the picture in 5 years. but thats ok, i'll be laughing at the panthers all year while my saints win 14 or 15
