I'm watching here in DC and the announcers are lost for words. Joe Theisman can't come up with any excuses.

    Lovin' it! :champagne:

Isn't that the most points the Panthers have scored in a game?

31 2nd quarter points is stout. Brings the Denver Washington Super Bowl to mind.

I heard it on the radio, wish I'd have recorded it too.

Do they put torrents of preseason up?

it's true. I have stock in Dante Rosario and I personally succeed whenever he succeeds.

But seriously, I'm not the one personalizing this, you are. I think the guy has talent to do more than fall down at the point of the catch, which I find useful.

At any rate, very good showing tonight. They're a sloppy team though. We obviously ran all over them, but could've been a lot less sloppy ourselves - Deangelo should probably try hanging onto an open field ball. No wet balls, some good velocity and some deep balls by Jake. He's throwing the 15 yard outs to the sideline with velocity, he's placing the deep ball well, I'll take it. And some scrub ass backup TE caught a deep ball for a score.

Still unsure why Lloyd wasn't asked to at least try a FG by now in preseason, especially when we're up by 30+.

No, it's preseason. Remember how you felt last week, then pick a spot halfway between that and this week. Unquestionably an exciting and encouraging performance, though.

Harwood produced an article confirming what I said and asked that you drop it, so I think you ought to listen. You've already admitted that you've been hyping Rosario relentlessly, and the team has never issued a depth cart with Rosario listed as the starter over King. He was never elevated to first string. In the immortal words of Flavor Flav:

As for last night, I didn't realize the game started that early and missed most of the first quarter. Jake looked better and the Rosario TD was especially nice, but there was still more inaccuracy than I'd like to see. Hopefully he'll continue to improve as the regular season approaches. Then with the running game, I have to give credit to the blocking. They struggled last week, but on both Stewart and DW's runs the blocking was responsible for the yardage. Stewart's run in particular was very well blocked with guys getting to every defender and making it look easy. Nice to see Peppers showing his strength too. Bullrushing Samuels is no joke. All in all a strong performance, but my two remaining concerns are health (especially among the receivers) and still that defensive line. I know we got sacks and pressure last night, but I just want to see that kind of thing consistently before I'm a believer.
