Porters. I drank about 12-15 types of beer in Seattle that I hadn't tried before, most regional micro brews. Lagers, Ales, wheats ..etc, I also tried 2 Porters. I can honestly say I'd rather have my nuts kicked by a mule. NASTY SHIT

You never had a porter, wheat, or ale microbrew until you went to Seattle?

Never been a stout fan but my taste buds are changing. Porters on the other hand are bitter tasting motor oil

Stouts and porters are essentially the same thing. But yeah, its either love it or hate it for me with porters. There's a line between a beer that goes perfectly with a steak and one that you can have for dessert.

Stouts are said to be an acquired taste. I can go with that, my first few pints as a nipper were a bit rough.

But i dont drink Guinness with my dinner either. Its a meal in itself you know.
