    Former Creston High School and University of Michigan offensive lineman Rueben Riley is back where he started.

    Riley re-signed with the Calrolina Panthers on Thursday after spending less than a week with the Miami Dolphins.

    Riley was waived by the Panthers, the team that signed him as an undrafted free agent last year and who he spent the entire 2007 season on its practice squad, on July 23.

    He was signed by Miami on July 27, and then waived over the weekend.

    Carolina brought him back after waiving tackle Charles Spencer earlier this week.
