    City officials stopped here the other day to check for leaks. They said it was inconceivable that the water bill had gone up that much on its own. It doubled. Of course, I do water the garden almost every day and some plants and shrubs. $30.

    is that for one month?

    We pay about $110 here but that is two months plus a charge tacked on for garbage pickup.

    we use plenty of water with 4-6 kids in the house. Washing machine never stops
