I hope they put teh statue 5 or 6 yards on the other side of Mint Street, in honor of his tackles that came about 5-6 yards after the line of scrimmage. It'd be nice to have it with him layed out on his back with some random RB standing over him after laying the wood to him....

It feels good to me for us to be on the other side of one of these. It is much better to cut a guy and let him retire after failing with another team than to sign a guy and then have him retire ala Adam Meadows...

I wont bring up how dumb it was to sign Morgan instead of Spoon again.... Good Luck Dan, you had a few good games and got very rich doing it. Have a good life.

Two for one deal on the Stephen Davis statue!

Agree with mags, good that he got out before he had 'the big one,' even though he will likely still end up on outside the lines talking about health problems years from now.

Man, I've got no beef with the kid. He played balls out every play. Getting hurt isn't something you can control - do you dumbasses think he WANTED to sit? The dude played like a man, and had great heart. I'll echo Solarte and say I'm glad he got out before doing anything life-threatening, but I have nothing bad to say about what he brought to the field.

I think most here blame the organization for failing to realize he was never going to be able to stay healthy, not Dangina herself.

Good for him. I always admired his attitude and the way he played. He was a captain's captain. I'm glad, like the rest of you, that he was smart enough to get out before he was forced out. He doesn't deserve a statue, but hopefully he can do one of those one day contract deals and retire a Panther (if it's not too late).
