    I'm guessing the players will be in for a huge dose of culture shock when they have to move from Seattle to OKC.

    I'll bet you they be called the Oklahoma vs. OKC for regional purposes (i.e. Carolina in the NFL). How about Drillers (for the oil industry) ? ? ?

    I think I read somewhere that Bennett had offered giving up the Sonics name if the city let him out of the lease early. If they don't, I think he was going to keep it.

    A professional sports team in Oklahoma just sounds weird. I hope they do well but it just odd.

    I can't think of a good name but Sonics does not fit there.

    I know that Portland has a team but Portland is not a major city, and the NBA needs a big market in the Northwest. How did they botch that. The Sonics 10 years ago was one of the best franchises in the league, and why in the hell would they go to Oklahoma City. That media market is so small. At least go to Las Vegas
