NFL 2008 Season: Games & Times come out tomorrow at 2pm EDT

I say the Panthers get 1 national primetime game on TV: vs. Giants on ESPN's Monday Night Football . . . . What are yall guessing ? ? ?

 

Doubt it. Their division games are much more compelling for prime time...plus they play the Steelers this year. Besides, what have we done to deserve a prime time game the past two years?

I would prefer to not play them on MNF. I am heading up for that one and with the parking situation there, i dont want to have to deal with that shit on a Monday night.

 

At greenbay, sunday monday thursday (does that count?) whatever.

 

Sunday on NBC: Maybe as a FLEX game if we are like the kickass 2003 squad!!!!!
Monday on ESPN: More likely if Favre was still playing
Thursday: If we are a playoff contender late in the season . . Yikes, a December game in GB? Brrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!

 

thursday NFLN isn't flex so it wouldn't matter if we are in playoff contention.

 

Oh, with the new Giants/Jets Stadium being built, I've read about the parking situation up there. Yeah, a Monday night game up there would be brutal, having to fight PM rush hour & game time traffic to Exit 16W for the game would be beyond brutal!!!!!!

Ooppss, I forgot about NFLN . . . My bad . . . Yeah, we could have a game on there. But I still stick to my 1 with the Giants

 

It's not just that. But they have to use a ton of local business park offices for satellite parking. They have asked the NFL to not schedule Monday night games because they can't clear out the lots fast enough to accomodate the incoming cars.

I did a game there last year and used the offsite parking. it was one of the most brutal gameday experiences i have had. I will never do that again. it'll either be a car service or i will just pay the exorbitant prices for a parking pass. Last year they were going for as much as $200 on ebay.

 

There will be no prime time game on the first official schedule. It will only happen late in the season if we re in the playoff hunt vs. a division rival.

Last 3 games will probably be divisionals

 

I'll guess we open against Atlanta
