I think it's possible.....

 

That would be nice. He fills a need, though if we take him in the 2nd (assuming no trades and depending on who the 1st is) we're putting off Pass rush, blocking, or the all important big back until the third, where we probably won't find any immediate starters.

 

Not saying I would or would not think he's the right pick, just that he's dropping.

If he is there in the second I'd think they take him unless there is a DL/OL guy they've fallen for.

Want it to come soon so we can all bitch about the panthers picks when they happen, then come to accept them in a couple of days, oh and then later if they don't pan out people bitch about it endlessly.

 

I think there's a better chance of DeJuan Morgan dropping to us in the second round that Phillips!

 

If Phillips drops all the way to 43 I hope they take him.

 

Hopefully if Morgan or Phillips are there at 43 we take either of them.

Kiper has Tyrell Johnson going in the 1st round now to the Giants. So its possible Phillips will drop although I wouldn't bet on it. Morgan could def be there. No real top tier of safeties but some nice 2nd tier guys.
