It was minor miracle that they got the games played at all. Hundreds of folks worked with no sleep just to get this pulled off. It's amazing what the Conference staff, the schools, the Alexander Coliseum staff and the TV crews pulled off in Atlanta this weekend.

That was a good no call. Gillepsie designed that play to get the foul. Calling that play a foul is like that ref calling the foul on the Villanova player in the Georgetown game. He wasn't there to receive the ball and the inbounder was looking down the court so the guy who was standing there really had no bearing on the play at all.

That is such a complete and utter crock of shit. The guy was setting a pick and got steamrolled. It should have been called a foul, no doubt about it.

Gillespe's intention really has nothing at all to do with anything.

Yep. It was after a made shot, so the guy could run the baseline.

Gillepsie called a timeout to set up that play specifically for that guy to get run over in prayer of getting the foul because he knew they had no chance of winning with 1 second so the only choice was to pray for what happened and hope they call it.

True or false - they had a better chance of getting the full court pass off cleanly without the guy in the thrower's face?

I can't imagine any ref calling that foul, especially with the game on the line.

same situation, tie game. the guy setting the pick gets there late and collides with the player trying to guard the inbounds. does the ref call a foul on the guy setting the pick, giving the defense the ball and a one and one? of course not.

no call was the right call
