    could have had ward.

Ward, 27, agreed to a one-year, $1.1 million deal that has incentives that could allow him to make another $1 million. He stayed with a backfield that features Brandon Jacobs, Ahmad Bradshaw and Reuben Droughns.

It didn't seem like he had a alot of offers for some reason? I thought he was pretty good before he broke his leg.

It's like cutting Foster for Foster.

I would have been happy with bringing him in for a deal like that.

Kick returner too, but so is Toefield so I guess it's win-win.

They're probably close enough. Ward being a better KR, though. The difference is that Ward got an opportunity. People within the Giants praised Ward when he was stuck behind Barber and Jacobs, and people in Jacksonville have done the same with Toefield.

I would have preferred Ward over Toefield but I am fine with what we did.

For sho, i think ward is a better Bruiser type back. 230lbs or so. Toefield isn't much smaller than him but, I haven't seen a bunch on Toefield. I have seen Ward run, and he has that smash mouth mentality. But Ahmad Bradshaw or Reuben Droughns might get cut? 4 good Running Backs are hard to keep in the NFL.
