    Moose has been arrested before.

True, but at least he was productive. He wasnt a high pick struggling to earn a suit up, and was able to pick up the play book.

Actually, Moose wasn't that productive as a rookie...he only started 5 games and played in 9 as a rookie.

I agree with those that say this is not the end of the world. It was stupid and he will get kicked in the ass for it, but it doesn't mean he shouldn't get a second chance. I'd be willing to bet that every last poster on this board did stupid things at the age of 21, whether they will admit it or not.

That is a very apt description of him to this point. The only problem with cutting him is our front office has put a shitload of eggs in his basket....if he busts (again), then we go down in flames with him. Might have been a good idea to look at another reciever in FA in the event Jarret continues to be what he has been in the NFL so far.

    Understood. But again.....

Moose was in uniform, and wasnt a total wash as a rookie. This being said. I hope Jarrett has a bright future as a Panther, without any more arrests, and any more incidents that point to him not giving a fuck about the profession that pays him millions.

And its not about whether any of us did things when we were 21. Jesus, I get it, I made plenty of mistakes too when I was young. But if were going to draw comparisons to all us of normal folk, when I had a kid, I straightened the fuck up. I imagine, I wouldve done the same thing if I had a job that paid me millions. Also, any job I ever had, even ones that paid me 7 bucks an hour when I was 21, I took seriously.

I really dont think thats too much to ask. And while no one is going to cut him, I truly doubt the organization is going to gently squeeze his hand, lay their heads on his shoulder and whisper to him that its ok, hes just a kid, like some people here are suggesting.

Exactly. Hes tall, hes big, and hes a second rounder. I get that. We wouldnt be having this discussion if he was a low round pick that had the kind of year he had last year....

Would it REALLY make sense to read a book to learn about reading comprehension??
