We haven't had a consistent running game since 03. And I'm still perplexed at how Chris Canty's 3.5 sacks are supposed to improve the dismal pass rush we had last year.

At this point we're more likely to find a rush with drafted players than the weak year of DL FAs that have already been sifted through. Drafting well is the only way to build and maintain anything. We need inexpensive youth.

 

Not true losing big name players can cripple a team, 8-8 ain't that bad. would the Pats even come close to SB with brady out? or the colts, or the only team that could lose there star and get by is the chargers, because of turner. well not now.

We averaged much less than 4.0 a carry that season. We were in the top 10 for number of third and longs. We just converted a hell of a lot of them.
