    Neither Jake nor Basanez will be ready for the mini camps, and possibly into TC, so I think he is still around simply because they just need an arm. It doesn't matter if it's a good arm, just one that can give Moore some rest while working the team, especially one that already knows the system. As soon as another viable option becomes available, he'll likely be dropped...especially if that option is Baz or Jake. Right now, it wouldn't make sense to cut him without another option in house.

    I think the chances of him actually being on the opening day roster are extremely low.

    final year of the contract so June 1 cut doesn't really apply. his 2008 bonus is already on the books and there's no 2009

    Probably continue to kick your ass in every pathetic argument you try to make to justify your own inane biases. Of course, that's not exactly hard for anyone, much less someone of my stature.
