I'd imagine that he would since Moose has deep pockets

I still believe it'll end up being for more than $1.5 mil per year.

But, I believe he's worth more than that too.

Well we only have 4 WR's signed right now including Jason Carter who I really have no idea who he is. So we will bring someone in from FA or the draft. I could live with Moose. Sounds like we will be putting a lot of faith in Jarrett.

Like I said before, if we get him for $1.5 million then he gave us a discount because he wanted to come back.

OK, but that doesn't change that I believe he's worth more.

I cant see it, and we obviously disagree about this. Not to say I dont view him as worth more- I just dont see any other team in the NFL giving him 3 mil a year.

I have to agree he's worth a bit more. I think he can help fill that leadership void that opened when Minter retired. Besides leadership, he could be exactly what Jarrett needs in terms of mentoring, he'll most certainly put a smile on Smith's face putting them back together. I also think he's still got some quality seasons left in him in the right situation and the past has proven that our system fits him perfectly.
