I'd dare say that Crumpler has got 4 (really) good years left in him.

I've GOT to think his knee is fucked up. Why else would they cut Crumpler? He complained about Petrino - but they didn't cut Hall, Roddy White, or Joe Horn.

Dude's got a bum knee. Like Chuck Smith.

I agree, I feel like he's got a lot of miles on him that are starting to show.

Being anti Petrino ought to be viewed as a positive over there now.

I say we load up the suburban and go pick him up on behalf of JR just to show him how serious we are about bringing him in.

Tonight good or is tomarrow morning better.

It's worth bringing him in and taking a look at the knee and make an offer based upon what we see. He has family in the area and probably would love to stick it back to Atlanta

I remember interviewing Alge Crumpler at the Senior Bowl in January 2001. At the time, Crumpler was talking about his desire to play for the Carolina Panthers. He was born in Greenville, N.C., went to college at North Carolina and has relatives in Charlotte and Crumpler said going to the Panthers would be a dream come true.

His knee is probably in better shape than Chuck Smith's knee was when we signed that fucking useless ************.
