The Patriots offensive line played terrible. Now I know the Giants have a great DL but they played 4 weeks earlier and NE had it's starting right guard and tackle out and only gave up one sack and very few hits. Not that much changed in a month except the NE OL was healthy which tells me that the Giants DL played harder and that was the difference in the game.

Now it did take a fluke hail mary pass to put them in position to win but if the NE OL plays a decent game, that game is way out of reach in the 4th quarter.

Brady played a decent game with no time and getting the shit beat out of him so the OL deserves all the heat.

I say Jets/Colts SB III was bigger than Pats/Giants SB 42 . . . . The Super Bowl started becoming a must watch event when the Jets beat the Colts (whom everyone thought was going to kill the Jets). The Jets winning started the ball rolling on the Super Bowl becoming a MUST WATCH game on TV and in person.

The Jets/Colts game changed the history of the NFL and while this one did too, to the extent that it changed the way history would be written, I don't see #3 being trumped. It's the Mac Daddy. Giants over Pats upset of the century? Yes. Great GREAT Super Bowl? Yes. No doubt this game will be talked about for decades, as has 3.

I think opinions will be split by generations, most people not around when SB 3 happened will go for this year's version, as it is certainly the biggest in their lifetimes.

If will take some time, but once people start to consider the Giants seed and how they went to Tampa, Dallas and Green Bay, then defeated the undefeated Patriots.....this game will be considered one of the biggest upsets in history if not the biggest.

The fact that the Giants played the Patriots in week 17 takes away from the win, because they played them so closely and is really the only reason that people don't think this was such a huge upset.

The Pats beating the Rams was a pretty big upset too.....but not this big.
