colon can argue that. he doesn't think that playoffs decide the best team. Just look at the college football arguments about a playoff system on here.

Now, his argument is completely wrong, but yes, he will argue it.

Not following your logic on that, we're not even sure they could have beat any of the AFC playoff teams. You might could say at this point they are better than 15 other NFC teams which I don't really believe is true. But they have been playing well in the playoffs, especially the defense.

I think the Giants have chance against the Pats. They played them close in the regular season. If they can get pressure on Brady they can hang with them.

Yeah, the NE defense has only given up 6 total second half points in the playoffs and has only allowed a total of 5 FG's over the past 6 quaters.

    They're playing terrible.

When did I say they were playing terrible? I said that they're not playing their best football right now. They are still clearly the best team in football, but they're not breaking their foot off into people's asses like they were earlier in the season.

All things considered, I think they were pretty fortunate to win yesterday. The bye week will help them.

You said they are not playing their best football.

The defense has only given up 15 total points (all fg's) in the past 6 quarters of playoff football and you don't think they are playing their best?

The offense can't score 40 points every game, especially in the playoffs in bad conditions. They are playing their best, it's just that some people don't appreciate what they are doing.

I know you didn't expect San Diego to keep it within 10 points. I applaud their redzone defense in the playoffs, but against Garrard and a one-legged, LT-less Rivers, I don't think they've done anything remarkable.

Giving up a combined 6 second half points to Jax and SD is playing good football, no matter what you think.

theyve won 10 road games in a row. they started 0-2, theyve been playing well for a while. and that was in a division that put three teams in the playoffs.
