    At Appalachian we had Corey Lynch that played safety, he actually blocked the field goal versus Michigan. But at several games this year there were some dudes in the stands that had a big sign that said "You've Been Lynch'd". It was even shown on ESPN during the Championship game in December. I didn't hear one thing negative about the sign. The Golf Channel girl would have said the exact same thing if Tiger was white. Why in the hell if Tiger said he was good with it would fat ass Al Sharpton open his mouth? I guess to keep that big ol pot of racial tension stirred up that he's always cooking. If he'd shut his big pie hole, and go away forever I think all races would be better off, and have some understanding.

    You have nothing better to do than to argue w/ me on a message board about an issue that you think is stupid??? You dumb-ass, I did answer your question, Tiger's being cool w/ this does not make it less offensive. Did I not type it big enough the first time??

    The last time I checked, voicing my opinion on a message board is not the same as "fighting for something". It is just that, voicing my opinion, and if that gets YOUR "panties in a wad" then maybe you should get a REAL life.

    BTW, I never said lynchings applied only to racism, as you put it. Since you have a problem w/ understanding what I type, you may wanna get someone of higher intelligence to read the following to you:

    From 1880-1969, there were over approx 4740 lynchings in America. Not all of these were racially were racially motivated. That being said 3400 of these were blacks and the rest non blacks. REMEMBER, I NEVER SAID ALL LYNCHINGS WERE RACIALLY MOTIVATED, so you can draw your own conclusion from these numbers. FACT 11 % of the US population made up over 70% of US lynchings.

    Another fact, throughout history, when lynchings did occur, many times the victims bodies were cut up and their body parts were saved as souvenirs, and pictures of the tortured bodies were made into postcards.

    So, the fact that you can't see why some people are offended by the "lynching" statement doesn't "get my panties in a wad", likewise, the fact that I and others may be in fact offended by the "lynching" statement shouldn't get you so bent out of shape..............dumb-ass

    I could care less what Al Sharpton has to say about the issue. Hell, I'm not even offended by her statement on racial lines. I am saying the statement was inappropriate and insensitive given the history of lynchings and how horrific they were.

    I really don't think Tiger was in the least offended. If he was, then he'd not as smart as I think he is. The only people who pretend to be offended are the people who stand on soap boxes and rail about things they think they understand. Get a Fockin life you losers!!!!
