I'll pull a Sds talking about stadiums.

I didn't realize the RCA Dome was 20 years old.

Lucas Oil Stadium I like how it's built below street level so you can walk down to your seats

What are the odds that Jerry gets a new stadium in about 8-9 years?

Not in 8-9 years IMO. They may start looking at upgrading then, but the current stadium allows them to find alternative revenue streams so it seems as though BofA will still be a viable facility on it's 20th birthday.

I think the COLTS are also making a good chunk of chang by selling sponsorship rights at the main entrances around the stadium (i.e. hh gregg will get one corner of the stadium to showcase the latest HDTV sets and other gadgets that they sell). Yeah, when are the Panthers going to cough up the cash to upgrade their current Videoboards ? ? ?

Wow, an extra tax on food and beverage to pay for that. I'd be pissed.

Also, I guess they just played their final game in the RCA.

    Little known fact:

ALL NFL Stadiums are designed to account for the angle of the afternoon sun. You always see the "near" sideline in the shade. Part of the reason for this is the press box--the glare of the afternoon sun would prohibit their ability to see some of the action. (in the pic above, the near sideline is in the sun, and the far sideline is in the shade?)

    Odd, but true.:curtain:
