Certainly, the first time I heard the hype on him, I figured he was just a big white boy who had size. But his technique is solid, he's got some athleticism and he's a good ball carrier. I think he'll end up going higher than we'd take a fullback (4th or later), but if we were looking for an inside runner and an outlet guy, he's the type who could probably fit in the H-back role, the blocker role, and could go out to a TE role on the line or flanked and not lose anything.

He's not a must-have, but he's what I liked in Cramer, with more ability with the ball in his hands. I do think someone will fall in love with him, though, and he'll possibly go unrealistically high.

    13 Oher OT
he has Clady out of reach..so I like Gholston too ..Oher has some kind of off field issues, but I'm not sure of the severity yet.

    45 Lawrence Jackson DE

    74 Eric Young G.
I like Duke Robinson better but this mock has him in the 1st

    108 Peyton Ellis FB

I like Otah, but I'm undecided on how well a big OT will do with the ZB system. Does any of the better ZB teams have a mammoth OT?

zone blocking hasn't proved effective for this bunch for the most part (inside mostly). If they're thinking of blowing up the O line, it's possible the zone blocking scheme may be scrapped as well depending on who they draft or sign in FA.

The Cat has a point and in order to continue with the ZOne Blocking Schem they will need to blow it up or work lots of OT in the off-season.

I watched Duke Robinson lastnight and that dude was pretty impressive. Routinely got to the second level and sealed off his man. Also did a good job in pass protection. I'm guessing he'll be the first G off the board. Late first early second. Assuming he comes out. Some people had Loadholt the LT for Oklahoma ranked fairly high, but I wasn't impressed. He'd def. need to go to RT, or even move inside.

Hell if it shook out the way GBN has it's ratings I'd trade down with Dallas (13 & 74 for 22 & 31) then dump Jenkins on the 'Skins for their 3rd (85)

    22. Groves DE
    31. Stewart RB
    45. Otah OT
    85. Demps FS
    108. Okam DT

    using the original list
    22. Gholston DE
    31. Otah OT
    45. Mendenhall RB
    85. Demps FS
    108. Moore DT
    189. Carr WR

all I'm saying is that it can go either way depending on who they pick up this offseason.

I think I've said this before but I'm not entirely sure the ZB deal wasn't implented simply to adapt to what we had to work with up front and does not necessarily give a long term view of the future. I guess we'll see going forward, as the OL evolves. Personally I'd rather have guys who can straight up beat the guys lined up across from them.

I didn't honestly see that much zone. I saw the counter play a lot more with DW using the bulk of the carries, which is undoubtedly a zone play, but it seemed like a lot of our inside runs were man.

Agree. I think Fox wanted to use Hennings plays.
