Testaverde will start. So we will prepare all week, again, and hope that he can play. When he cant, we'll be unprepared, again. Carr will start, again, probably having no snaps this week with the first team. Then Moore will come in in mop up time, again, with no preparation with the first team, and playing against a prevent defense.

Another example of absolutely no progress being made going forward, what good does this do the team going forward, absolutely none.

I would throw all my young guys in there and let them play. Find out what we have in them. I am talking Jarrett, Anderson, Johnson, McClover, Moore and probably some others I am forgetting.

you know, the packers are the youngest team in the NFL, and theyre 10-1...theyd never be in that situation with Fox and Hurney at the helm...

they have their starting QB playing out of his mind as well, and are getting solid contributions from guys that are supposed to be contributing.

I don't see it as all coaching--there is plenty of blame to go around, and the coaches are not immune to the criticism, but there are guys that are just not playing well. Mike Wahle said after the game, "we have guys playing hard, but you have to play well too..."

I'm thinking it is going to take two more losses before we start focusing on "the future" and young player development. We're 4-7, which means 9-7 (and a possible playoff spot) is still a mathematical possibility.

It's a good time to see if any of the young guys are worth keeping around. Other than the SF game we really have no shot at winning any more this season (and I don't think we beat SF for that matter). The vets are already playing for a job next season and it's time for the Richardson's to evaluate the organization from the top to the bottom and make some decisions about 2008+. Hurney would be gone and Fox would be removed from personnel decisions if I were running things but JR seems to like the status quo...
