    Back to the thread at hand--my hubby had read a blog that said that he (Taylor) was not expected to live. The blog said that somebody had called one of his best friends to the hospital as kind of a "goodbye" visit because his heart had stopped (they got it back going again, but they think he's braindead) before they got him into surgery and that he had almost bled to death before help had gotten there. The blog also said that somebody had tried to break in about 3 times the previous week and that this time ST had heard a noise, went downstairs to investigate, and that whoever it was shot him thru the door.

    Man, that's terrible.

    I bet he knew the guy who shot him or at least had a connection to him. He got in trouble for beating up a guy who stole his ATV a few years ago. In any event this really blows. I really hate it for his new kid.

    foxnews television was reporting at lunch that the police are not looking for suspects, and are focusing on people that were in the house last night

    holy shit, that is fucking terrible. sounds like he got things figured out a bit w/ his daughter. anyway, i'm glad it sounds like he got turned around for at least a little while before this happened, got to enjoy another side of life besides the thug deal.
