I wish the Fat Bastard would just go away. What he has done to communities in the past is spineless. When he and Bob Bahre purchased Wilkesboro Speedway and split the dates for Texas and New Hamp, they just shut down NW Speedway. Back then the two race weeks at NWB accounted for 1/3 of their economy. They could have scheduled one weekend for the trucks and Busch Series to race. But that wouldnt have made a gizzillion dollars for "Him" so they didnt bother with it. I know Wilkesboro was old and small and somewhat outdated. But hell that is the birthplace of Nascar and it would have sold out one weekend a year with the Craftsman/Busch combo. He doesnt give a rat's ass about anybody else but himself and organization.

 

Could have taken the Mountain Dew 400 Busch race from Hickory up there

and built on that.

Now 13.6 Million in losses for 3rd quarter
