If it were a comparison of Detriot and Houston.....I would say you are prolly right....problem is Harrington had alot of weapons in Miami and was unable to produce.

A lot of weapons? The Dolphins aren't exactly a top notch team and have been known more for their defense than offense in recent years. Harrington was inconsistant in his starts for the Dolphins, granted, but he was the only winning QB to start for them last season going 5-4 (Culpepper 1-3 and Lemon 0-3). He finished 5-1 after going o-fer in his first three starts. I thought the benching was bit premature considering the roll the Dolphins were on despite Joey sputtering a bit. The winless streak that ended the season with Lemon under center proves that the QB change didn't work.

Harrington's leadership ability has been in question since before he was drafted, and as far as I know, he's shown nothing in the NFL to contest that perception.

It's pretty funny to see the arguments people were making back then.

Personally, I'm disgusted with David Carr...he's probably gonna get our HC fired, and some of the people screaming the loudest for that to happen, were Carr's supporters. Aside from T.O, I'm not sure I've ever seen one player single handedly ruin a season, maybe a coaching career, and divide a fan base like Carr has. Signing Carr was the biggest mistake this team has made since Rae Carruth and Kerry Collins. If Fox gets fired, Carr better be right out that door with him.

    I stand by what I wrote :

Carr was thrown into the fray WAY too quickly, and it killed any chance of him 'recovering' from his experience in HOU and being groomed the right way to be an NFL quarterback -- [Yoda]"You must unlearn what you have learned!"[/Yoda]

I didn't think Carr was the right choice for all the wrong reasons....I was worried he would actually challenge Delhomme and I didn't want that.

    what a dipshit!
