That is definitely not good news.

You're right about the rest, but Fox wouldn't make the call just to cover for Carr. Either he's legitimately unhealthy or Fox feels like Testaverde is the best chance to win. Obviously we're going to find out whether or not Vinny can still play, because you can't just constantly dump the ball off against Indy the way that we did against Arizona.

Vinny threw some deep ones and looked pretty good doing it - it'll just need to happen more.

It'd be nice if those smoke routes would work. They didn't last week.

We are not going to win a shoot out with Indy regardless of who we have at QB. The defense will have to show up big for us to win. I expect though that Vinny will throw the ball down field a bit more than he did against the Cards because he will have had a lot more time to learn our offense and get a feel for our players. If you can block Freeny the Colts defense is not that special.

we've got to find a way to get some good shots on sanders and crumple him - he's good, but he ain't big.

Freeney is the only name you're familiar with, but that doesn't mean that he's their only good pass rusher. In fact, I'm a little more concerned about Robert Mathis against Gross.
