Unless Reid can not function due to his family issues he should stay. He has been a great coach up there. McNabb may need to go. He seems to be on the downside of his career anyway.

Given how horrible the coaching has been this season (hideous play-calling, absolutely no ability to make adjustments), this really wouldn’t bother me that much (aside from the fact that Mornhinweg has already demonstrated that he sucks as a head coach). That said, it has the feel of a soon-to-be-debunked rumor to me…

i hope that this is true. please do’nt get me excited. yes, andy and donovan have had a great reign in this city. but this was the last year possible to reach the promised land. this team, as great it was the past at was at keeping young, its nucleous has quickly gotten old. its breaks my heart too see veterans like dawk and john runyan not get thiers rings. but it is time to make a change. Andy has come up short in too many big games. bottom line, not a good gameday coach. too long has this team undervalued the postion of reciever and linebacker. yes, brian westbrook is the best player we have had in this town, but to not have a bruising back to complement him is ridiculous. it seems too much that the fanbase is smarter than big red. donovan was never strong enough mentaly to do it. physicaly, now, it looks dim. i could go on and on. and im drunk. i love this team. but its time to move on. the window has closed. give the fans what they deserve, a coach and players rhat embody the city’s heart. it starts w/ the return of john gruden.

either alot of those folks up there dont appreciate what they have or are too young to remember the bad times.....the real bad times. despite their recent troubles on and off the field, Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb have been the main reason this team has risen to the top of the NFC since the turn of the century. the Eagles lose a game and the message boards, talk shows and papers are ready to run everybody off. but Reid keeps winning. that franchise was dog shit before he came. HE built that team. maybe some of those unappreciative ass holes would rather have Rich Kotite, Ray Rhodes or Marion Campbell back to see what shitty football really is. fuck them.

Exactly. I'm sure they're longing for the days of Bobby Hoying.

For those fans, I hope they go back into shitter for five long years.
