Have the Rams improved themselves that much since last November or have the Panthers gotten that much worse?
This seems to be the consensus with alot of fans and I don't get it. Seriously.

i don't think there is a great deal of confidence in the d being able to limit the pass. or stop the run effectively for that matter. i mean the draft class of davis, shelton, ellison, lefors, etc. looks possibly like a "oops" draft.

certainly it's a long season and there are a ton of variables, but you can't begin to say that you are salivating over our date with indy. just to put out an example.

i don't think it's a 1-15 year coming up. but, i can't say i have much optimism for the season. 5-11, and that mostly because atlanta and tampa have a good shot at being woeful.

the same problems that we have all seen plague this team appear to still be there. offense has trouble running consistently, offense can't convert consistently on crucial 3rd downs, no other receiving threat other than smith. defense can't get off the field.

If you go back and look at threads from that game, you'll see that even then people thought it was a total fluke. St. Louis should never get shut out, they're just too good offensively. They're still not much to speak of defensively, so I'd be reasonably confident if we were home, but it's tough to win on the road.

It is tough to win on the road, but it's a lot easier to win in St. Louis than it used to be. They were only 4-4 in that dome last year, and all of their wins were by 8 points or less. They were even pimp-slapped by the Cardinals.

We're obviously not going to shut them out again, but they're not going to hold us to 15 points again, either.
