Any of you whores going to see them in Raleigh? I may go see them in Atlanta since the Panthers play the Falcons that weekend.

 

I'll be in Atlanta that weekend (got a ticket for the game from law1ng2b2). What night are they playing, and where? Do you think it will sell out or could I get a ticket on the night? Info much appreciated!

 

They play that Friday at Tabernacle. I'm not sure if it will sell out or not. I don't think they are terribly popular in here in the South, but I could definitely be mistaken.

 

I was just about to post that but you beat me to it. The Tabernacle looks like a barn of a place. It also looks an all-seater, which I don't particularly like - I prefer to stand (and move about a bit!). And to top it all the tickets cost more than $40 when all fees are added. All this for a band that I'm not too fond of in the first place - I saw them here in the UK a few years ago* and wasn't too impressed. I doubt if I'll go, which is a pity because I like to go see bands when I'm on vacation in the States.

I saw them with The Thrills, Polyphonic Spree and the great New Zealand band, The Datsuns (wonder whether Honeygirl has ever seen them?).
