I said that a long time ago. Nate Newton was involved this dog fighting business, too. Don't know if it was during his playing days or after, but he was involved.

last time anyone heard from Joe T, he was badmouthing Jaws for taking his spot in the MNF booth.

He was also seen ordering a waaaaaamburger and some french cries.

How can you be so sure that people are defending Vick just b/c they are the same race? What's really funny is how he is being more vilified for abusing dogs than other athletes who have abused their wives.

he's shown plenty of malice (hanging then drowning dogs), what he hasn't shown is remorse (not busting your balls hoping this is what you meant to post). I doubt you see Vick until after he is sentenced to be honest. He's already proven he's his own worst enemy and he really doesn't want to say something to piss off this particular judge given his penchant for handing down harsh sentences.

people get far more outraged about things that happen to animals than things that happen to humans.

    Wow.

As to the signing bonus, lets say the contract was 5 years and the signing bonus 20 mill. He defaults in 2 weeks, by missing camp/practice. (He was excused before, because the NFL wanted the fed prosecutors to make things easier for them - good move.) Lets say he played for 2 years of the contract, and defaulted before the 3rd year. Then they can go after 60% of the signing bonus. (3/5). So they can go after the part of the bonus in the ratio of the time left on the contract when he defaults.
