Recent word from falcons board in the past hour or two is that Vick will take cues from Billy Martin (and his gargantuan ego) and fight. Martin might be the smartest lawyer on the planet but IMO it’s not worth the risk. We all know that Vick is a dumb shit, or at the very least a poor decision maker. We all know that Martin is extremely smart. What is not know is just how smart the jurors will be. Risking a prison stay that is three times lengthier (or more) on the bet that the jury will be malleable is a big gamble.
Since it worked for O.J. my bet is that Mike will follow Martins ego and roll the dice.

The sadistic (bored) side of me wants vick to go for it, because I do not see him getting over . . . Martin or not.)

They don't know anything. They're likely just regurgitating what Skip Bayless has been saying on ESPN2. I don't doubt that Vick would like to fight it if only because he believes that he can get away with anything, but I can't think that Martin would advise any client to fight these charges. O.J. wasn't facing federal prosecutors or numerous witnesses.
