This afternoon I tuned into 94.3FM and I heard ESPN RADIO on there . . . . Hmmmmmmm, does WFNZ finally have some competition in this market (God I hope so :D :D !!!!!).

    You aren't kidding.

Aside from MSP, I wouldn't go out of my way to hear ANYTHING on FNZ. And this is coming from someone who used to listen to FNZ all day at work, every day. They have completely lost me on a local level.

I usually don't even hear more than 2-3 min of MSP (hello drive-time commercials). If it's not a national show in the evenings, or Cowherd at lunch, I'm not interested in anything else on that station.

MSP has become almost unlistenable...Gary Williams is horrible. I rarely get to hear Rosinski's show. The Mac Attack or whatever they call it makes my ears bleed. Most days I can sit through Packer's show during the ride home from work. All said, WFNZ is pretty weak during the weekdays. For the most part, I enjoy the weekend programming.

    SDS...

More than likely you were listening to W232AX. W232AX is a 188 Watt FM Translator east of Rock Hill that was given Special Temporary Authorization to simulcast WRHI AM in Rock Hill in January.

The NAB has requested that the FCC allow AM stations that reduce power at night to operate FM Translators. It remains to be seen if WRHI will be able to use W232AX once the STA expires since they do not reduce power at night. WRHI operates at 1,000 Watts day and night on 1340KHz...

    94.3 good to know.

I listen to rosinski every day. Sometimes the thing stays on and I accientally listen to the mack attack show - fuck me it sucks.

    Rosinski is good stuff.

Haven't we been through this like, 10 times already? ;)

For the record, Mike did a good show in Raleigh, even if he had to talk way more hockey than anyone wanted to hear ;)
