Feds take over Vick case

2. On the search warrant, they got a dog fighting case thrown out previously because the warrant was not properly drawn up. Apparently he thinks the solution to that is not to execute warrants, rather than to draw them up properly.

3. As to the Feds taking over, HOORAY! Hopefully they'll find a role for the local guys and everyone can take credit.

4. I thought that was a great letter to the Falcons fans. They got rid of the cut blocking OL coach. They got rid of Mora. If they get rid of Vick, it will be hard to dislike them, other than being our rival.

 

If "MV7" really sucks on the field this season and there is still a huge boiling cloud of negativity over him Blank & Co might seriously consider trying to offload vicky next year. However, I'm starting to think vick will be fighting for his life and his teammates will rally around "an innocent lamb and his cause" or some shit like that. Maybe the falcons are a big hit this year (please let that be wrong!). If dogman gets convicted (highly unlikely since he probably won't even be charged) then all bets are off and Blank’s hand would be forced. I think the ********** is most likely guilty as sin, but unless charges are filed against mikey (and that seems unlikely at this point) vick probably won't be going anywhere any time soon. Then there is that little issue of the organization having 130 MILLION tied up in their main attraction . . . How do you just cut 130 mil loose, especially if the super star that’s attached to it is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?

the feds are probably looking into the drug, money laundering, gambling, and tax evasion angles here. They may not have enough to nail him outright on the dog fighting charges, but they can "Al Capone" him on the rest. If they do, Vick is done in the NFL.
