yeah. It's one of those "we're going to let the youth compete" things except we didn't add a guy the level of Jarrett. Or Robinson. Or anyone else really. A 7th rounder that they can convert, a UDFA, a 4th last year that couldn't make a roster half the time last year, and a mildly promising journeyman who didn't make the field last year either.

And Minter, who's no Steve Smith (to follow the WR analogy to the bitter, bitter end).

agreed all throughout this. And yeah, I'd feel better with Williams here, which isn't especially encouraging for the big picture.

Fox has done this before, though. Williams was a late 1st, but they didn't put much else into S under NYG. Garnes started a long time, and they got lucky with him, as a 5th.

 

Hasbeen said it. He's really fallen off. Dallas brought him in late last year, but he sucked so bad that they had to keep him buried down the depth chart.

I'd feel better with Vincent. He's also taken quite a tumble since his injury, but at least he would be more of a fit for us.
