    I saw him at Bonnaroo within weeks of getting out of rehab and was fine. A year after Ovens (2 after rehab) in Charleston he was just as much of an ass to the crowd. I understand his frustation but he just seems to like being an ass regardless what stage of recovery he's in.

    Chip, he was really easy going at the Asheville show a couple years ago. So I dont think it's an all the time thing with him

    Maybe he just had good drugs that night. But he was on nightline after the show and he looked sober.

    I was there, he picked out a few people in the front row and started into them because he figured they were Bush supporters.

    Oh yeah, I forgot that. I was buzzin really hard at that point. Wasn't it kinda tongue in cheek teasing tho?

    the guy in front of me was so fucked up that he kept crashing into everyone around him. Kinda ruined the early part of their set - until he passed out.

    yeah, that one was hardly worth mentioning. But I'm sure he's gotten into it with someone at every show I've been to.
