I thought that at first but that one article where he was surprised that they did not make him an offer makes me wonder if he is pissed at the team. There are worse things that making a million per year on a team that has a chance to win a ring.

I did the same thing for Timmy B. Time to give it up. That way, if he comes back healthy, it's all gravy.

Siler isn't a terrible choice, given that we'd have two light OLB, but I think he's over-rated. I think he'll only play on run downs, for one.

I would be pretty happy with a MLB who is great against the run and average against the pass. We can always substitute him in and out when needed. Davis and Anderson theoretically have the ability to be very good against the pass so it may not be as big to have a MLB who is as well. I want a guy who can fill gaps and take on blockers and then deliver solid tackles that stop backs.

I agree, I just think it puts him below guys like Harris, Davis, Blades, and so on who can do both and who have the more natural athleticism.

If a guy can really do both then great bring him on board. It just sounds to me that Willis can not really do both. It does not sound like he is going to be good against the run on the pro level, not as a MLB anyway.
