Like on the biggest stage of all, the Superbowl? He finally choked at the worst possible time and hasn't since.

Morgan and Delhomme......I especially enjoy Jake's fire.

.....the guy I miss watching is Cooper.....watching that maniac take off down the field on kick coverages and just blow people up was worth the price of admission alone. Seems like our special teams have not been the same since.

I didn't like Coop the person, but what you say is true. Since we don't have our key STs back, maybe one or more of the new guys will be like that on the field.

Coop made some bad decisions, but he was one of the nicer people ever to wear a Panther uniform (as far as interacting with the fans)

I've never subscribed to the "Kasay lost us the Super Bowl" argument. The out-of-bounds kickoff was regrettable (hence my "more often than not" qualifier) but the alternative result is unknowable. It's not like all he had to do was keep the kick in bounds and we win.

And you're right: he hasn't choked since. In 2006, he was absolute money from inside 50, hit 4 from beyond 50, and IIRC one of his just 3 misses from long range was a desperation 60+ yard attempt.

Nor do I, but that does change that he choked on that kick. There were plenty of things that could have prevented us from being in the position where it mattered.

Yeah, he did. I just don't hold it against him for much vs. his many clutch FGs, including the 50-yarder before halftime in that same game.:cheers2:
