WR Kevin Youngblood. all togehter now....who?

 

big scrub that spent time on the PS for ATL and Tampa. Thought I recognized his name, but couldn't remember anything significant.

 

Wasn't there a Kevin Youngblood who was a very good receiver for Clemson just a few years ago? May be a bust in the NFL so far, but if it's the Clemson receiver he showed talent there.

Panthers add another Hankton?

The Panthers have signed ...(drum roll, please) Kevin Youngblood.

For those who don't know who he is, Youngblood is a wide receiver. He went to school at Clemson. He's bounced on and off the rosters and practice squads of Tampa Bay and Atlanta since the 2004 season. He's played in precisely one NFL game.

He's 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds. He's yet to make his first NFL catch.

Sounds like a young Karl Hankton

 

Hankton played in plenty of games, with very few catches. This guy sounds like he hasnt had a chance to play. Probably because he isnt any good, but we bring in guys all the time, just to see if they aren't that surprise guy who develops late. Most of those signings come in January or early February, where they don't attract that much attention.

 

FWIW, he was really good in college. I thought that he would be a fairly good third receiver or fourth for a team. Shows that I'm not a scout for a reason. I'm pretty sure that he was taken in the third round.

The Kev got the Rookie Minimum...King is the only TE listed on these NFLA
Panthers with 2007 contracts...they still carry Davis as a Safety...maybe they know better than us his talents...Long Snapper Jason Kyle now makes more than Morgan....
