Obviously the staff is going to talk to alot of players and all these postings should be read with an understanding that they mean very little in the grand scheme of things, but as long as they're out there I guess we should comment as we see fit.

would drafting Wright mean Foster is going in a salary cap move?

There has not been much speculation about running back DeShaun Foster as a potential cap casualty. Maybe there should be, because it’s pretty obvious DeAngelo Williams is the future at running back. The Panthers could clear $3.3. million in cap space by simply releasing Foster. At the very least, they’ll try to restructure his deal.

I'd be more inclined to agree if Williams had shown more ability in pass blocking and some of the other little things, or if DW had taken over as the starting back.

I don't believe we're ready to replace Foster either, unless Shelton has magically transformed into something we can rely on. I wouldn't bet on that.

Fox has a good bit riding on the offense/new OC having a good year. I'd expect he'd not want to make it tougher for Davidson to succeed by taking away capable guys.

Manning and Palmer were #1 picks.

Schottenhiemer on ESPN said QBs and linemen are the hardest to predict from the draft. Linemen are difficult because they are bigger and stronger than everyone in college, but not so in the pros.

I ain't buying his math. He must have at least 3 million in prorated signing bonus combined with a 4.25 million salary, we ain't saving 3.3 mill by cutting him.
