Given the teams with QB concerns that appear greater than ours, I wouldnt bet the farm on us getting a new Carr anytime soon.

Oh and can we make the I'd hit it Smiley any bigger?:wtf23:

I will admit to being intrigued by the idea. Carr has never had a decent OL or much in the way of skill players. He might blossom in the right system. I figure some team will give him a chance to compete for the starting spot and he will land there. I doubt that would happen with the Panthers so it seems unlikely.

Assuming that the team is in love with Jake as they seem to be, would Carr really be willing to come here to battle Weinke for the backup job? I would think there are much more desirable places for him to go.

IF Saban was still in Miami, I would say that Carr would end up there.

Thelt is right about Carr never having a decent OL. Only marginally better than Arizona.

Jacksonville MAYBE intersted. Leftwich looks like he is not going to be the starter. Garrard isn't bad, but spotty. He may end up with the 49ers though.

    no.
I also have a question as to why they'd want to pay so much for a backup, or pay another team to get a backup.

Is the team in love with Jake or was Henning in love with Jake? We do have a new chef with a spoon in the pot so to speak. I wonder how much stirring he will do.

My impresssion is that Fox is in love with Jake as much as any one. He may have just been going with his coordinator's man, but I think he's pretty well set on Jake too.
