Damn Ball was horrible. Three times in the first half of the ACC Championship game GT had receivers behind - WAY behind - Wake defenders only to have Ball miss them. Glad he missed them cause I had Wake, but the throws were awful. The kid that played QB in the bowl game looked better in just one game.

and as bad as Ball is, never once did Johnson complain about him to his coaches or the press. He just went about his business. I understand he is a very bright student as well.

If you take a look at all of the potential top draft picks, you can find something that raises a question mark about each one, but you can not find anything wrong with Calvin Johnson...a true "no brainer" selection.

Then why doesn't he go first in the draft?

I imagine if the Raider's primary need started at the WR position, he would

Ball did suck really really bad, but Calvin Johnson got shut down by real good corners and flat out dissapeared for long stretches of some games. He might have looked awesome in the bowl game but he was playing against one of the worst secondaries in college football. I think he'll be a good pro but nothing like Jerry Rice.

No one digs up dirt like a Redneck

Maybe Detriot will take this Yellow Jacket. The Ole Rednecks take on the Status of the Quo.... RED

By the Ides of March, we will know better what players will
make the top 60 Panthers American Idols.

Looks like LB is not a need for the Draft with Morgan signing. James Anderson is slotted to to take Diggs slot. Chis Draft needs to be resigned.

Probably either Nelson or Landry at SS will be the number one draft choice.

Depending on F/A to fill the O-line and QB positions...Wharton, Wahle, Hartwig returning ???

Sign Brett Banasez and maybe a F/A QB....drafting them has never worked...takes too long to potty train...

Then I would like a big running back like Lynch, M. Bush,
or Hunt in the Draft, after cutting Shelton.

A big tall fast WR around the 3rd...doubt Carter will be resigned. Taye Biddle is fastest man on the team and was
Eli Mannings target at Ole Miss helping him put up big numbers...Taye can do KR also.

Then 4-7 is a crap shoot for the Panthers, since most get cut anyway.

Top Players and Draft sites..some Fox scouted at the Senior bowl...
