Probably some other decent examples. Interesting point.

I'm over my Manning hate somewhat and was pulling ror the Colts but that was kind of a stretch. He got it by default, probably should have gone to Adai or Rhodes maybe.

Anyway, I heard tonight that Manning and Kenny Chesney had an afair in Jamaica.

I was a Vol n00b Al's Jr year. So, suffice to say, I didn't know who he was. I think it took all of about 5 plays the first game of that year for me to discover that he was an absolutely dominant player. He was my favorite almost immediately.

I will never forget that sack of Quincy Carter that he made his senior year. I've probably said it before - but I had to watch that one on the tube. The play was framed from a sideline view with the O-line on the right edge of the screen and Carter dropped back to pass about 7-10 yards on the left edge of the screen. Then, all of a sudden, this orange blur, fully horizontal and elevated off the ground rocketed through the line and drilled Quincy so hard his helmet almost came off. Al didn't touch the ground until the tackle. That was absolutely freakish. One of the most athletic football plays I've ever seen.

And we're not even mentioning the recievers and other skill players.

Didn't that core set some kind of record (that Michigan, USC, or OSU has probablys ince broken) for most top 3 round picks in a one or two year period? Like 11? In one year?

    That team was ridiculous.
