...till we start hearing the outcry from Boise State fans?

(regardless of whether it's justified or not)

shouldnt be any. they got a BCS game, they won, but their schedule was not on par with OSU or FLA. They are getting stadium upgrades and such as aresult of their win. Good for them.

now go beat some of the heavies, and come back next year.

That's rational thinking. College football fan thinking is a whole other animal :roflmao:

To play devil's advocate here, they are legitimately the only undefeated team left in the BCS mix. Yeah, you can talk about level of competition, and it may be a legit argument. Regardless, don't be surprised if fans (and some analysts) argue that they have a claim to number one.

Yeah, BSU would be wise to just STFU. They got into a BCS game and won a great game, but they didn't beat a ranked opponent all year until that point. It would have been insane to put them in the Championship.

I guess you mean Florida. Boise would have given them a better game than Ohio State, imhmfo. everyone was talking about how bad Oklahoma would crush them. but for a couple late-game mistakes Boise would have done the crushing. and boise stomped Oregon State, who gave a pretty good USC team one of their two losses. I really don't see how anyone can discount what Boise did. their top five final AP ranking is deserved.
