Chris Leak at #14 to Panthers.

    My opinion:

Jake will still be #1 here for at least 1-2 years, gives Leak 1-2 years (max) to learn system. He is quite polished, but his size could hurt him. At 14, he would command a high price, so his learning curve would likely be accelerated.

I am spitballing here, not stumping for Leak at 14, but it is rather intriguing considering the outcry of many to remove Jake. How about bringing in Leak and letting him learn and then step in?

    Thoughts?

I think he could be taken in a later round.

I'd vote no, but that's not important. I think the bigger deal is that I can't see Fox doing it.

I wouldn't be concerned taking him if he wasn't available in a later round.

well I beleive he can be a steal to whichever team gets him. No matter the round. Brady was what, round 6?

    good pick

if he gets drafted in later rounds then i definitely think that would be a steal.. hes got a good arm ... and something that lot of people think that jake lacks alot of times is a good head on his shoulders to make good decisions. that was obvious tonight.. great job to a great kid on the NC.. maybe with him being a home state boy like peppers was... maybe he could be just as rewarding? lol
