Brees goes for 384 yards and 5 TDs and Copper only gets 8 yards? What a crock. I go 12-1 in the regular season in my FFL league and get another monster game from Tomlinson only to lose by one point because Copper does nothing. Granted I had to plug him in off waivers when Hines Ward went down but still he scored a TD for three weeks in a row at one point. It also hurt me when Chester Taylor went down.

Leagues should incorporate a weighting system that favors higher seeds. I've played in some where the team with the better regular season record would be considered the "home team" and given 5 extra points. But yeah, it's 50% skill and 50% luck. Another thing you can do is to never have three rounds in your league's playoffs. If you do that, you make upsets that much more likely.

In our league eight of the twelve teams go to the playoffs. The league fee is $50 and we pay out 10% to the league MVP (manager who scores the most points in the regular season) 30% to superbowl runner up and 60% to superbowl champ. In the past four years I have won the MVP money three times and been a number one seed in the playoffs twice and a number two seed once. I was an eight seed the other time. Each year I have lost in the first round of the playoffs. I think I just have some bad mojo working or something.

Sounds like a stoopid idea to me. Upsets happen, should the higher NFL seeds get spotted points in the playoffs??? Upsets happen there too, that is part of sports and certainly part of FF also.
