....it's funny (and scary) how we went into Baltimore and hung 400+ yards on the #2 defense in the NFL. It's also scary that had we not been fucked over by two tipped balls, the final margin would have been 16 points.

That's against the #2 seed in the almighty AFC.

    Yep. We suck.

The difference between being good and sucking is consistency.

We can't, we just don't always pull it off.

We're 6-2 after an 0-2 start. We hold a share of the division lead. We've lost our LT, MLB, C.

On top of this, our best CB has been out half the year, our best WR missed the first two games (losses).

If we lose today, I will eat my words. But I honestly do believe we have turned the corner. Just sick of hearing the myth that we are unusually inconsistent, relative to the rest of the NFL.

Consistency? Where's the Saints' defense been? How about the Falcons running game? Talk to me about the Giants now? Seahawks? Vikings? Rams?

    He's only missed 1 game.

We have an inconsistant offense regardless of trying to look on the brightside. Pointing out other teams inconsistancies doesn't change ours.
Shit, we got 1 td last week against a horrible defense.

The Seahawks have the same record and are getting back their pro bowl QB and RB.

I dont think anyone is talking about inconsistent reletive to the rest of the league. Were talking about being inconsistent because we are. Regardless of the rest of the league.

We've done some good things, yes, but we have to be more consistent to get where we want to go. We cant worry about anyone else but ourselves, as far as the team should be concnerned.

I was about to bump my own thread with:

    :eek:kfucktard:

We are inconsistent. Period. Delhomme is not getting any better.

Jake has played badly all season, period. But moreso than that, we have always played up to and down to the level of our competition. I feared this game as much as any others on our schedule because of that.

We let shitty teams have breakout games. Always have.
