    Hasn't there also been some suggestion that he had one in college but it was either undiagnosed or ignored? I just remember seeing mention of "one in college" and 5 or more in the pros.

    Morgan won't retire anymore than Bruschi did after his stroke. Hurney, Fox, and Richardson need to have the stones to make that decision for him.

    I wonder what Sam Mills would have advised.

    Even if it does cost the franchise a million or so to cut him, combine that with a less-than-elite veteran (extend Draft?) or a rookie salary, and you've got talent on the field instead of in the training room, and it may even be cheaper in the long run. At any rate, it's a better use of resources -- roster and cap space.
