See I am not wholly against the wave, but that makes twice in this past season they have done it on offense. I am in support of the Richardson's banning the wave now

First ever hard hat worn on the construction site of Hoover Dam in Nevada. The first hard hat area was in San Francisco. About the only original idea that I have seen come out of Pittspuke was the veggie less dinner plate.

But I do have a serious question... I'm not knocking PF, we need more of his type at the games. WAY MORE.

But my question is- why do adults paint their face at games? The last time I asked this I got ripped a new one.

Just one of those heat of the moment types of things. But actually it does serve a purpose. The doctor who owns the six seats around me has not been to a game since 2002. He always sells them on EBay and I normally end up with a bunch of lame types. Last night was the classic example. Sitting on their hands with looks of disapproval at those standing around them. However when someone at 300 lbs with a painted face is looking back at them to get into the game they stand up. After a few times of getting into the yelling and screaming, they all of a sudden transform into cool fans. It is like a clown. A guy with funny shoes making corny jokes at a party is not much fun. Add the outrageous wig, ball nose and a clown face paint job and all of a sudden people are happy.

If the majority of the signs hanging over the wall on the lower side that I face can be TAMPA friggin signs (and last game they were DALLAS friggin signs) then Panther fans can at LEAST paint their faces.
