i hated it then.. hate even more now

i hated that we let him go when we did and now with morgan out once again and with the problems our linebackers are having covering tight ends.. that makes it hurt even more..

Who on God's green earth, looking back at history - REPEAT history no less, thought Morgan would stay on the field for an entire season EVER? I know he's good when he's out there, but he has CONSISTENT history of NOT BEING OUT THERE. One of the things I was ranting about walking away from the stadium Sunday was keeping Morgan over Spoon. Even a slightly above average player OUT THERE beats any superstar on the bench. If it had been once or twice I could see it, but Dan's injury issue is CHRONIC and constant. WHY WHY WHY

More people than you would imagine actually supported the Morgan signing. I was actually one of the few who called the contract crazy and took plenty of heat for saying so. As for 'Spoon, I wouldn't have signed him for what he wanted either.

but as Mags has always joked, we'll probably end up signing an expensive FA to compensate this off season

I would have rather had 'spoon than Morgan. You are correct, both were overpaid. We could've better used the money.
